In 1988, Prindables purchased the Harrison Machine Works. Built in 1928, this “St. Louis Union Station” style structure was originally used to build steam engines. It has since been turned into an impressive 12,000 square foot auction facility while maintaining many of the historical elements that were unique to the original building. Opened in 1989, with handicapped access, lots of parking, high tech sound, lighting and television monitor systems, the Schumacher Auction Center is certainly one of the finest auction facilities in the region.
Schumacher’s Auction Services has one goal, to maximize the success of your estate auction.
Before the Sale
It all starts with a free evaluation of your estate. We’ll supply you with a breakdown of the costs and options for your auction. We’ll show you how to maximize the return on the liquidation of your assets. Are your needs best served by a Consignment Auction? Real Estate Offering? Industrial or Commercial Auction? We can guide you through the process.
We’ll work hard to ensure maximum exposure for your items prior to and the best presentation possible during the sale. We can help you plan and layout property, provide signage to the sale site and get information to prospective buyers. Of course, we can provide tents and on-site equipment even bathroom facilities if needed. If it makes sense, we can bring our trucks and trailers to your property, do a complete clean-out and host your sale in our unique 12,000 square foot state of the art auction facility. Whether it’s on-site or in our unique old “Harrison Machine Works” auction facility, you’ll find we get things done efficiently and on time.
During the Sale
Our staff, including 4 auctioneers, can handle any and all aspects of your sale. We know just how to present your estate items in order to get the best results possible.
After the Sale
The staff at Schumacher Auction Service ties up all the loose ends, so you don’t have to, especially when geography keeps you too far from the auction. We work with all the parties to close in the region.
